Your Four Star home from home in the middle of the ‘Lang Toon’ of Auchterarder in beautiful Perthshire making it the ideal base for an unforgettable Scottish holiday experience. The village provides everything you need from groceries to upmarket clothing shops, eating places, hairdressers etc. which are within walking distance of the property. There are 40 golf courses within one hour’s drive including St. Andrews, Carnoustie etc. and we are close to the famous Gleneagles resort in the heart of beautiful country side. Auchterarder Golf Club is less than a three minute drive. Trout and Salmon fishing, walking, riding and shooting plus other country pursuits are on your doorstep. Perth, with a wealth of shops, swimming pool, ice rink, football stadium, theatre, concert hall and museums,  is a fifteen minute drive away  as is Stirling with its Castle, Wallace Monument and many other attractions.    Blair Drummond Safari Park is nearby and we have many fine restaurants within a short distance by car including Fairlies  at Gleneagles.  Edinburgh and Glasgow, with their main railway stations and airports, are both under an hour away by motorway. Gleneagles Station is on the main line up to Inverness and down to King’s Cross in London. Dundee Airport with connections to London City is approximately half an hour away.   For those who do not wish to cook there are several very good restaurants within walking distance of BraeMhor including a Scottish Bistro (opening Spring 2010) and Indulge, a small restaurant serving delicious home made fare, cakes and coffees to eat in or take away.

 

This bright and  modern ground floor flat (only two in the building) is newly equipped & double glazed  and consists of two double (1 en-suite shower room)  and 1 single bedrooms, family bathroom with bath and shower, lounge/diner ( including TV with Freeview, Video & radio/CD player) with  French doors to raised sun deck with outdoor furniture, private off street parking for one car, a lock fast shed for bikes, clubs etc. and a rotary clothes drying line. In addition there is adequate on street parking outside the flat. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, fridge, freezer, microwave, electric hob and oven.   Heating throughout is provided by gas combi boiler and cooking is electric.

 

 

A small welcome pack of tea, coffee, sugar, a pint of milk, kitchen roll, toilet rolls, dishwashing tablets, washing powder, washing up liquid & waste disposal bags is provided free of charge. Electricity, gas, bed linen and towels are also provided within the cost of your accommodation.

For stays of more than a week a very thorough cleaning service can be arranged if required at extra cost. (Must be ordered at time of booking). Linen change is not charged for and is included in the price of longer bookings.    A sturdy wooden cot and high chair are available if required at £10 p.w. but no cot linen is available.
